Duties
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and health assessments for patients adult, and geriatric populations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare team members.
- Prescribe medications following HIPAA guidelines, DEA regulations, and state-specific scope of practice laws.
- Manage acute and chronic conditions.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Provide patient education on disease management, medication administration, nutrition, and lifestyle modifications.
Experience
- Proven clinical experience working in fast-paced environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in medical office management with familiarity of EMR/EHR.
- Knowledge of CPT coding for billing purposes alongside ICD-10 coding standards to ensure accurate documentation.
- Prior experience working with diverse patient populations.
