Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of warehouse distribution, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and materials handling.
- Lead and manage a team of warehouse staff and supervisors, fostering a positive environment focused on safety, productivity, and continuous improvement.
- Manage onsite food truck
- Coordinate logistics activities with providers to ensure timely delivery and fulfillment of orders.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent discrepancies through effective inventory control practices.
- Enforce OSHA safety regulations and promote a culture of safety awareness among all team members.
- Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse workflows, reduce costs, and increase overall efficiency.
- Manage shipping & receiving operations ensuring compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.
- Operate forklifts safely for heavy lifting tasks and materials handling while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support emergency response efforts, distribution strategies, and continuous operational enhancements.
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse management or supervision within a fast-paced distribution environment.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, logistics, and warehouse distribution processes.
- Valid forklift certification with mechanical knowledge for heavy lifting operations.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and best practices for workplace safety.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively through team management skills and strong communication abilities.
- Experience working with providers, shipping & receiving procedures, and materials handling equipment such as forklifts.
- Ability to implement process improvements that streamline operations and improve accuracy.
