The laboratory of Harry Kim, MD, Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at UT Southwestern and Director of the Hip Center at Scottish Rite for Children, invites applications for a postdoctoral position. Dr. Kim leads a dynamic, NIH-funded research team focused on developing novel biologic treatments for hip and joint disorders caused by bone necrosis, utilizing in vivo and in vitro models. The team comprises experts in bone biology, material science, histology, and animal technology, fostering a collaborative and innovative research environment.

Responsibilities
- Conduct cutting-edge research in bioinformatics, with a focus on single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNAseq) and bulk RNA sequencing (bulkRNAseq) data analysis.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to investigate biologic treatments for bone necrosis and joint disorders.
- Contribute to experimental design, data interpretation, and publication of findings in high-impact journals.
- PhD or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Strong expertise in bioinformatics, particularly in scRNAseq and bulkRNAseq analysis.
- Experience in immunology is highly desirable.
- Candidates with a proven track record in these areas will be prioritized for interviews.
