What are the responsibilities and job description for the Repairman position at OAK CLIFF BIBLE FELLOWSHIP?
Summary
Keep building in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
(Other duties may be assigned)
- Repair walls, ceiling, counter, floor, door, etc.
- Remodel restrooms, classrooms, kitchens, etc.
- Perform structural repairs.
- Perform various wall treatments including, texturing, painting, wallpapering, and tiling.
- Perform various floor treatments including laying vinyl, carpet, and tile.
- Repair and install sinks, toilets, faucets, and garbage disposals.
- Repair and install door and cabinet locks and closing assemblies.
- Repair water fountains, stoves, and other machinery/equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance assignments.
- Studies blue prints, sketches, and/or building plans in order to perform necessary repairs or to communicate with other repair specialists.
Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); three to five years of verifiable experience in carpentry, plumbing and/or electrical work. Some trade for carpentry, plumbing, or electrical or equivalent experience preferred.
Other Skills and Abilities
- Ability to read blue prints, sketches, or building plans.
