Job Description
Scott Petroleum, a leader in the petroleum industry, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and have experience in pipe fitting. The Service Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining and servicing our equipment, ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Equipment Maintenance:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on company equipment, including but not limited to pumps, meters, and other related systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to identify and implement appropriate solutions promptly.
Pipe Fitting:
- Utilize pipe fitting skills to install, repair, and maintain pipelines, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute pipe fitting projects efficiently.
CDL Operation:
- Operate company vehicles, including trucks and specialized service vehicles, to transport equipment to various job sites.
- Maintain a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and adhere to all relevant traffic and safety regulations.
Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and report any potential hazards or safety concerns.
Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and service activities.
- Complete required paperwork, including work orders and service reports, in a timely and accurate manner.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other technicians and departments to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient workflow.
- Provide support and guidance to junior technicians as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training is a plus.
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in pipe fitting, with the ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality work.

Physical Requirements:
