Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Location: 1030 Powers Place, Alpharetta, GA
Job Type: Part-Time (30 hours/week, In-Office)
Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dependable, organized, and proactive Administrative Assistant to support our office operations. This role involves significant client interaction and is best suited for someone who is calm under pressure, solution-oriented, and able to maintain professionalism in a fast-paced legal environment. Our clients are often dealing with emotional life situations, and while rewarding, this position requires someone with professionalism, empathy and resilience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls with professionalism
- Schedule and confirm client appointments
- Serve as an in-office Notary Public and oversee client document signings
- Monitor and respond to emails and text messages
- Review basic legal documents for signing
- Support the Office Manager with daily operational tasks
- Assist with general office duties, such as scanning, organizing, and filing
Requirements:
- Prior administrative and receptionist experience required (minimum 2 years required)
- Prior law office administrative experience strongly preferred, but willing to train the right candidate who is professional, organized, and eager to learn
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Active Notary Public certification (or willingness to become certified upon hire)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask efficiently
- Professional demeanor and client-service mindset required
- Must be dependable and available to work on-site during scheduled hours
Work Schedule (30 hours/week):
- Monday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Wednesday: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
- Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
Salary : $18 - $19
