Job Description:
The Payroll Specialist is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of payroll processing for approximately 370 employees across multiple departments, including service, parts, sales, and administrative staff. This role ensures accurate and timely payroll and compliance with federal and state regulations. The Payroll Specialist is also responsible for onboarding and offboarding employees as well as accurate benefits billing.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll processing.
Proven experience with payroll software and systems.
Strong understanding of payroll processes and regulations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
