Compensation and Benefits
Base salary range: $60,000 to $70,000 per year, plus uncapped commission. On-target earnings (OTE): approximately $120,000 inc. commission & monthly bonuses.

About the Role
Scotsman Guide has been a trusted name in the mortgage industry for over 30 years, and our sales team is at the heart of how we grow. We are looking for a driven, relationship-focused Account Manager to manage and grow a book of business while bringing new advertising clients (primarily mortgage lenders) into the Scotsman Guide ecosystem.
This is a hybrid new business and account management role: you will keep current clients happy and growing while actively prospecting for new ones. It is a B2B inside-sales position where success is measured by client retention, revenue growth, and new business. Selling is done by phone, video conference, and email, so clear communication is key. If you are consultative, organized, and motivated by building long-term partnerships, you will fit right in.
What You Will Do
Manage and grow your book of business:
• Be the primary point of contact for your portfolio of advertising clients, building long-term relationships through proactive communication.
• Run regular check-ins with clients to review campaign performance, resolve concerns, and uncover growth opportunities.
• Manage renewals and contract changes, and work to retain accounts when clients consider cancelling.
• Spot upsell and cross-sell opportunities to grow revenue across your accounts.
Win new business:
• Build a pipeline of new advertising clients through cold calling, cold emailing, networking, and referrals.
• Research prospects, tailor product recommendations, and deliver proposals, demos, and presentations.
• Own the full sales cycle, from first outreach through signed contract.
Stay organized and collaborate:
• Keep your pipeline organized in our CRM, with accurate deal stages, notes, and forecasts.
• Get regular coaching and pipeline reviews from a manager invested in helping you hit your numbers.
• Keep client campaigns running smoothly with our Product and billing teams, and be the voice of your clients inside the company.
What You Will Bring
• 3 to 5 years of B2B inside sales experience with a proven track record of hitting and exceeding revenue targets.
• Experience managing a book of business with both retention and new business responsibilities.
• Comfort with high-volume outbound calling and emailing.
• Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills.
• Clear, concise written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with CRM platforms, web conferencing, spreadsheets, and word processing.
• A bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Nice to Have
• Advertising sales or mortgage lending industry experience.
• Familiarity with Magazine Manager CRM.
• A working understanding of the mortgage lending landscape and B2B advertising.
Schedule and Location
Full-time, exempt position based onsite at our Bothell, WA office four days per week, with one remote day. Monday to Friday, daytime hours.
