Part-time After-school Care Worker Duties & Responsibilities
An after-school care worker works with the school, program staff to plan activities while meeting the goals and mission of the program. They structure the program to provide an educational or enriching experience based on the interests or needs of the school, and students. Directors are typically the spokesperson for the program and promote its activities.
After-school care directors’ duties vary and may include the following:
· Planning and schedule activities that engage the students in the program
· Communicate with parents
· Assist students in homework
· Assist in giving snacks for the students
· Keep daily attendance of after-school care students
Qualifications and Skills:
· Strong interpersonal communication
· Skilled at creating and scheduling activities
· Well organized
· Ability to provide a safe and engaging environment for students
· A resourceful leader that delegates tasks effectively
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $11.00 per hour
