Position Summary
The Cabin Crew is responsible for ensuring an exceptional experience for guests staying in Scorpion Bay's floating cabins. This position serves as the primary point of contact for cabin guests from reservation through departure while maintaining cabin readiness, cleanliness, and organization. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, organized, proactive, and capable of handling multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced marina environment.
Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesGuest Services
- Welcome guests and complete cabin check-in and check-out procedures.
- Answer guest questions in person, by phone, and through email.
- Provide information regarding marina amenities, policies, and local attractions.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest concerns and maintenance requests.
- Ensure every guest receives exceptional customer service.
Cabin Operations
- Inspect cabins before arrivals and after departures.
- Verify cabins are clean, stocked, and ready for incoming guests.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to resolve issues quickly.
- Monitor cabin inventory and report damaged or missing items.
- Perform routine quality inspections to maintain company standards.
Laundry & Inventory
- Wash, dry, fold, and organize cabin linens and towels.
- Maintain adequate inventory of linens, toiletries, and guest supplies.
- Keep storage rooms, supply areas, and laundry facilities clean and organized.
- Restock cabins with necessary amenities and supplies.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Assist with reservations and scheduling as needed.
- Maintain accurate guest records and documentation.
- Communicate cabin status with marina staff and management.
- Track supply usage and notify management when inventory needs replenishment.
General Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
- Assist with other marina operations when needed.
- Uphold Scorpion Bay Marina's standards for customer service and professionalism.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous hospitality, hotel, marina, vacation rental, or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional while resolving guest concerns.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Bend, stoop, climb stairs, and work around floating docks.
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including Arizona heat.
- Ability to safely operate golf carts and boats to transport supplies throughout the marina.
Schedule
- Full-time position.
- Weekends, holidays, and flexible scheduling are required.
- Hours may vary based on occupancy and operational needs.
Pay: From $15.15 per hour
