Social Media Manager (Part-Time)
Location: Orem, UT (Hybrid)
Compensation: $625/month base performance bonuses event commission
Scorched Studio, a hands-on wood burning art studio in Orem, is looking for a creative and reliable Social Media Manager to grow our online presence and help more people discover the studio. This part-time role is perfect for someone who enjoys creating content, engaging with followers, and bringing new marketing ideas to life.
What You’ll Do:
- Create and post around 6 high-quality social posts and 6 stories per month
- Capture and edit photos and videos in the studio
- Monitor DMs, messages, and tagged posts
- Plan and execute marketing ideas and small campaigns
- Research trends, find local collaborations, and coordinate influencer or event partnerships
- Track engagement and growth metrics
- Meet once a month with the owner to review results and brainstorm ideas
Pay & Incentives:
- $625/month base pay
- Bonuses for follower and engagement growth
- 15% commission on any events you help book ($50–$110 per event)
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Instagram and TikTok content creation
- Strong understanding of branding and visual identity
- Photo and video editing (Lightroom, CapCut, or similar)
- Graphic design skills (Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator)
- Ability to capture clean, engaging photos and short-form videos
- Familiarity with planning and scheduling tools (Meta Business Suite, Later, Planoly)
- Good communication skills for managing DMs and coordinating collaborations
