What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Trainer (UPK, PreK) position at SCOPE Education Services?
SCOPE Education Services has an immediate opening for a Field Trainer for our UPK/PreK Programs located in Nassau County. Major duties include the following:
- Visit assigned programs and provide training to all UPK/PreK teachers and teaching assistants
- Assist with the hiring of new staff; conduct interviews and check references on prospective candidates
- Provide staff coverage at program sites as needed
- Assist supervisor in evaluating staff
Requirements:
- Permanent NYS teacher certification in Elementary/Early Childhood Education.
- Valid NYS drivers license; willing to travel to various program locations in Nassau County
- Strong understanding of NYS learning standards for PreK education
- Minimum of 2 years successful instructional experience in PreK; previous supervisory experience preferred.
