DESCRIPTION:
The Shift Leader is responsible for directing an efficient workflow and assisting the
Store Manager in a variety of store operations duties. This position serves as a role
model of barista responsibilities and serves as the team leader when the Store
Manager is unavailable.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure consistent and quality customer experience by executing brand
leading the team in delivering the Scooter’s “Amazing” customer service
experience
- Maintain speed of service standards during high-volume periods by staying
and utilizing downtime to prepare for the next rush
- Assist the Store Manager in onboarding and training new team members
- Develop effective working relationships with team members, identifying
- Proactively seek opportunities to increase individual and team sales
- Understand and execute cash handling, point of sale system, and
- Ensure team members follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Serve as a keyholder, following all opening and closing procedures
- Demonstrate punctuality, dependability, and adaptability
