About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Head of Communications & Public Relations to lead our public strategy, elevate our brand reputation, and manage all external communications.
This leader will shape how the world sees Scooter Your Way and our executive team. You will drive media relations, refine our digital and website messaging, position our CEO as a recognized industry voice, and manage our digital knowledge footprint across search engines and media outlets.

Key Responsibilities
1. Media Relations & Reputation Management (PR)
• Media Relations — Pitch, secure, and manage earned press coverage across local, national, and industry publications, podcasts, and digital outlets.
• Brand Protection — Safeguard the company’s public image and maintain high trust among customers, partners, and stakeholders.
• Awards & Accreditations — Identify, apply for, and secure industry rankings, business awards, and trust accreditations (e.g., BBB, business journals, industry honors).
2. Website Narrative & Digital Brand Positioning
• Core Narrative Development — Own and refine the public explanation of “what the company does” across all digital touchpoints.
• Website Credibility — Partner with web and marketing teams to ensure the website communicates authority, clarity, and social proof.
• Online Newsroom — Build a digital newsroom, corporate press kits, and customer trust stories.
3. CEO & Executive Thought Leadership
• Executive Positioning — Position the Founder & CEO as a leading voice in personal mobility and electric transportation.
• Content Creation — Draft and publish high‑impact LinkedIn content, op‑eds, guest articles, and keynote speeches.
• Media Booking — Secure CEO appearances on podcasts, conference panels, and media interviews; provide media prep and briefing.
4. Search Presence & Digital Knowledge Footprint
• Search Optimization — Work with technical teams to optimize Google Knowledge Panels, Google Business profiles, schema markup, and online directories.
• Digital PR — Execute digital PR initiatives that build high‑authority backlinks and strengthen overall web presence.
Qualifications & Skills
• 5–8 years in Public Relations, Corporate Communications, or Executive Branding (agency or in‑house).
• Proven track record securing tier‑1 or trade media placements and managing executive profiles.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong executive presence.
• Solid understanding of digital PR, brand search optimization, and online reputation management.
• Experience or interest in mobility, transportation, green technology, or consumer services is a plus.
Compensation Structure (Three Phases)
Phase 1 — Sweat Equity (Pre‑Funding)
• Non‑negotiable sweat equity granted upon joining.

Phase 2 — Monthly Compensation (Post‑Funding)

Phase 3 — Salary Bonus (Post‑Profitability)
