C Shift - 6p-6a

Essential Duties

• Able to relieve out and operate the line in accordance with product specifications. Be able to trouble shoot these pieces of equipment during operation
• Read and follow the batch record
• Responsible for ensuring maximum output of the line, quality of finished product, control waste
• Responsible for housekeeping of entire area
• Ensure correct materials are being used for the product produced by utilizing the batch record
• Report mechanical or any problems to maintenance and/or supervisor
• Follow BestCo’s LOTO Policy and procedures to ensure that machines or equipment are isolated from all potentially hazardous energy before performing cleaning, service or maintenance activities where they may be an unexpected energization, start-up, or release of stored energy
• Follow cGMP guidelines for cleaning and paperwork
• Perform other duties as required by the supervisor to ensure best operation possible
  
  

Knowledge And Skill Requirements

• Ambitious, self-starter comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently
• Must possess above average math skills
• Must be an effective communicator at all levels of the organization possessing excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge and high level of attention to cGMP’s
• Must be able to follow policies and safety procedures
• Must be able/available to work irregular or extended hours including nights, weekends and potentially holidays as needed
• Individual must be hygiene/safety oriented
• High degree of personal integrity
• Quality conscious.
• Production and efficiency oriented
• Good writing analytical skills
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 6 months of experience as a machine operator.
• Willing and able to clean and sanitize machines
• Must be open to work any shift that is necessary depending on the business needs
• Move/lift 60 pounds on your own with or without reasonable accommodations
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Basic computer knowledge (must be able to log on and complete required cGMP SOP training and email)
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• More than 1 year of machine operator experience.
• Prior experience in a cGMP environment
• NCMI Certified Production Technician
