Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Assist with medication reminders and monitor health status to ensure safety and adherence to care plans.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to foster positive social interactions and reduce feelings of isolation.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including meal preparation, laundry, and maintaining a clean living space.
- Communicate effectively with clients’ families and healthcare professionals to coordinate care and report any concerns or changes in condition.
- Follow established care plans meticulously while adapting to individual needs and preferences.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided, client progress, and any incidents or observations.
Requirements
- Prior experience in home care or related caregiving roles is preferred; enthusiasm for helping others is essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients and their families.
