- Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and financial analysis activities
- Oversee accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, cash flow management, and general ledger activities
- Coordinate annual audit activities, tax filings, and financial compliance processes
- Maintain internal controls, financial policies, reconciliations, and reporting accuracy
- Supervise and mentor finance team members while partnering cross-functionally with leadership and program staff
- Support organizational decision-making through financial insights, reporting, and operational analysis
- Experience leading accounting or finance operations within a nonprofit, community-focused, or mission-driven environment preferred
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, and audit processes
- Experience with accounting software platforms such as Sage or similar ERP/accounting systems
- Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail
