Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Specialist
Employment Type: Full-time, On-site
Reports To: Plant Manager
Note: We Prefer Someone Who Can Start Almost Immediately
Job Summary
Manufacturing facility is looking for an experienced Shipping & Receiving person to run the shipping/receiving operations including processing bills of lading, coordinating with freight carriers, and cross-referencing inventory counts inside our digital tracking system.
Primary Responsibilities
- Coordinate shipments with carriers and schedule pickups as required.
- Prepare comprehensive shipping documentation including Bills of Lading (BOL), invoices, and packing slips.
- Input real-time logistics data into the company's internal ERP or inventory system.
- Perform routine inventory cycle counts, audit tracking logs, and correct system errors.
- Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities against packing slips and
- Purchase orders.
- Use forklift and pallet jack to move products on and off trucks while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures.
- Assist in production areas as needed.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of direct shipping, receiving, or logistics experience.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Active Forklift Certification (or willingness to get certified at hire).
- Proficiency with basic computer applications, spreadsheet tracking, and inventory software.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for carrier and vendor interaction.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing and/or warehouse environment is a plus.
- Strong math capabilities for weights, measurements, and freight box auditing.

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
