Schedule: Monday – Friday (7:00a – 4:00p)

Pay rate: $21.00 -25.00 / hour DOE

This position needs a motivated, hard-working and reliable person who is the critical link in our overall operations. This position performs a wide range of duties and is physically demanding and requires being active and on your feet 8 hours per day. This position requires regular lifting, stacking, and lowering of crates and boxes; works in all weather conditions; and wear protective gear appropriate for the assignment. You must be able to wear and work with gloves on both hands.

- Check in daily with the Operations Manager and facilitate communication within the Warehouse and teammates regarding daily duties, additions, changes, special orders, etc.

- Coordinate with Warehouse/Dock Manager to ensure proper position for pulling and rotating products in the cooler and lock-up areas.

- Maintain a flexible work schedule to meet changing needs such as earlier start or later ending.

- Driver’s License required with acceptable Motor Vehicle Report.

- Work transitions from warm to cold temperatures and may require extended periods in the cooler at 34 degrees.

Warehouse tasks:

o Store and label received materials and rotate existing stock according to FIFO criteria, reconcile bills of lading, verify counts, and ensure quantities received are as ordered.

o Prepare pallets (build and wrap) with orders for delivery or pick-up.

o Ensure and maintain an organized and clean work environment with unobstructed isles: All Warehouse areas, Trucks, and bays/dock areas.

o Utilize and properly store/ plug in electric pallet jacks and dollies.

o Shuttle supplies and pallets to and from warehouses as needed for inventory.

o Off load trucks of new and used products for proper storage; organize and place in Warehouse.

o Sort and stack crates of mixed sized bottles.

o Operate bottle dump and wash machine.

o Manually weigh, package and label specialty products.

o Utilize date gun to apply expiration stickers to products as needed.

General Cleaning:

o Utilize brooms, dust pans, squeegees, shovels, buckets, and trash cans, and maintain their location for easy access.

o Move trash to designated receptacles.

o Power wash outside warehouse, under stairs, ramps, etc.

o Clean trucks as needed to prepare for loading process

o Spread ice melt and shovel snow as needed during winter conditions.

Additional:

o Support, Assist, Drive or Ride along with Route Drivers as needed (Wholesale and Residential).

o Notify Manager or Office of any safety issues, observations, or violations you notice or experience.

o Receive and respond to text messages and group chats as appropriate.

o Request items needed and suggest changes needed to improve efficiencies and the duties performed on this job.
