- Schedule and track onsite repair work with vendors, data‑center technicians, and internal teams.
- Perform onsite installations: racking, cabling, labeling, powering, and validating new hardware.
- Maintain accurate documentation for deployments, inventory, cabling, and network topology.
- Follow standard procedures for incident triage, escalation, and ticket updates.
- Assist with basic network troubleshooting (link issues, cabling faults, transceiver swaps, etc.).
Required Skills & Experience
- 1-3 years of experience in data‑center operations, IT support, or hands‑on infrastructure work.
- Strong familiarity with server hardware components (SSD, DIMMs, NICs, PSUs, etc.).
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (cabling types, VLANs, link lights, switchports).
- Comfortable performing physical tasks: racking, lifting up to ~40 lbs, and cable management.
- Ability to follow clean labeling standards and cable‑management best practices.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills for working with vendors, data centers, and internal engineering teams.
- Willingness to travel to local data‑center sites as needed.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with enterprise OEMs (Lenovo, Dell, Nvidia).
- Familiarity with Jira or similar ticketing systems.
- Exposure to Linux systems or basic CLI troubleshooting.
- Understanding of structured cabling and labeling conventions.
Soft Skills
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast‑moving, dynamic environment.
- Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues.
- Clear communication skills for collaboration across operations and cloud engineering teams.
- Detail‑oriented mindset, ensuring infrastructure reliability and high availability.
