Project Manager – Cybersecurity
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with Cybersecurity expertise to lead and deliver 3–4 concurrent, high‑priority security initiatives. This role requires strong project leadership, cross‑functional coordination, and a solid understanding of cybersecurity domains to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business and security objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage 3–4 critical cybersecurity projects simultaneously, from initiation through delivery.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk registers.
- Coordinate with Cybersecurity, IT, Engineering, Risk, Compliance, and Business stakeholders to drive execution.
- Ensure cybersecurity projects align with enterprise security strategy, regulatory requirements, and risk posture.
- Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Track project milestones, deliverables, and KPIs; provide clear, executive‑level reporting and status updates.
- Facilitate governance reviews, steering committee meetings, and stakeholder communications.
- Ensure proper documentation, change management, and post‑implementation reviews.
- Support vendor management and third‑party engagements where applicable.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of Project Management experience, with direct experience managing cybersecurity or information security projects.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex, high‑impact projects concurrently.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts such as:
- Security architecture and controls
- Identity and access management (IAM)
- Vulnerability management
- Incident response
- Risk, compliance, and regulatory frameworks
- Proficiency with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proven ability to operate effectively in high‑pressure, delivery‑focused environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum).
- Cybersecurity certification or coursework (e.g., CISSP, CISM, Security ).
- Experience with cybersecurity programs such as cloud security, zero trust, SOC initiatives, or regulatory audits (ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2).
- Experience working in regulated or enterprise environments.
