Project Manager – Cybersecurity

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with Cybersecurity expertise to lead and deliver 3–4 concurrent, high‑priority security initiatives. This role requires strong project leadership, cross‑functional coordination, and a solid understanding of cybersecurity domains to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business and security objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage 3–4 critical cybersecurity projects simultaneously, from initiation through delivery.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk registers.
• Coordinate with Cybersecurity, IT, Engineering, Risk, Compliance, and Business stakeholders to drive execution.
• Ensure cybersecurity projects align with enterprise security strategy, regulatory requirements, and risk posture.
• Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Track project milestones, deliverables, and KPIs; provide clear, executive‑level reporting and status updates.
• Facilitate governance reviews, steering committee meetings, and stakeholder communications.
• Ensure proper documentation, change management, and post‑implementation reviews.
• Support vendor management and third‑party engagements where applicable.

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of Project Management experience, with direct experience managing cybersecurity or information security projects.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex, high‑impact projects concurrently.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts such as:
• Security architecture and controls
• Identity and access management (IAM)
• Vulnerability management
• Incident response
• Risk, compliance, and regulatory frameworks
• Proficiency with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proven ability to operate effectively in high‑pressure, delivery‑focused environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum).
• Cybersecurity certification or coursework (e.g., CISSP, CISM, Security ).
• Experience with cybersecurity programs such as cloud security, zero trust, SOC initiatives, or regulatory audits (ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2).
• Experience working in regulated or enterprise environments.
