We're seeking a skilled Software Engineer (SWE) to contribute to the development and maintenance of our industry-leading wireline telemetry and logging system. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software applications that meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance. Your expertise will play a critical role in enhancing our system's capabilities, improving user experience, and supporting team goals and metrics.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications for wireline telemetry and logging systems
- Devise solutions to integrate new behavior and features into existing legacy systems
- Develop high-quality, efficient, and well-documented code that meets industry standards and best practices
- Participate in weekly software team meetings and ensure that solutions are aligned with the company's technical vision
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues, identifying and implementing fixes and improvements
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
- Collaborate with the team to ensure software meets quality and reliability standards
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and user guides
Qualifications
- Experience in software development
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C
- Proficiency using operating system APIs such as Win32 or Linux
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug and troubleshoot complex issues
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Experience with 2D graphics programming, such as SDL or GDI
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field
or
Software Development • 2 - 4 years
- C/C • 1 - 6 years or equivalent
