We're seeking an Electrical Engineer to contribute to the development and maintenance of our industry-leading wireline telemetry and logging system. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and testing new and reiterated circuits that meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance. Your expertise will play a critical role in keeping our systems on the cutting edge by reducing obsolescence and designing improved solutions for existing products.
Responsibilities
- Redesign existing products with new components
- Design new PCBs and hardware components
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and user guides
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Experience designing and laying out PCBs
- Experience with digital or analog circuit design
- Experience using KiCad, Altium, or similar schematic design software
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug and troubleshoot complex issues
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Strong attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality software products
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- PCB design experience • 1 - 5 years
- EDA Software Experience (KiCad, Altium, etc.) • 1 - 5 years
- Lives a commutable distance from the shop in Houston, Texas.
- Relocation can be considered.
