This role is essential in managing subcontractor relationships, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements, and supporting the procurement and administration of subcontracted services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in subcontract management, procurement processes, and construction industry practices.
Key Responsibilities - Manage vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements and performance standards. - Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors to ensure reliable sourcing of materials and services. - Conduct market research to identify potential vendors and evaluate their capabilities. - Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to secure the best possible pricing and delivery schedules. - Monitor vendor performance and address any issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing. - Collaborate with the procurement team to develop and implement vendor management strategies. - Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all vendor management activities. - Maintain accurate records of vendor transactions and agreements.- Coordinate and manage subcontractor agreements, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
- Assist in the preparation and issuance of subcontractor bid packages and RFQs.
- Evaluate subcontractor proposals and qualifications, supporting the selection process.
- Maintain accurate records of subcontractor agreements, performance metrics, and compliance documentation.
- Facilitate communication between project managers, subcontractors, and procurement teams.
- Monitor subcontractor performance and address any issues related to quality, delivery, or compliance.
- Support the negotiation of subcontractor terms and conditions, ensuring favorable outcomes for the company.
- Assist in the development and implementation of subcontractor management strategies and best practices.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of subcontracted services.
- Provide regular updates and reports on subcontractor performance and project status to leadership.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2 years of experience in subcontract management, procurement, or construction coordination.
- Strong understanding of subcontractor agreements, procurement processes, and construction industry practices.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with energy infrastructure projects, including renewable energy, industrial, or utility-scale projects.
- Familiarity with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar tools.
