Position Summary:
Schwickert’s Tecta America is seeking motivated individuals to join our team. Our Residential HVAC Installers are hard-working, enjoy seeing a job from start to finish, and want to learn and grow in their career.

Starting pay ranges from $25-$40 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Installation of heating, venting and air conditioning systems in residences and some light commercial establishments.
- Install and start up equipment according to manufacturer’s specifications.
- Ensure new systems work efficiently.
- Communicates in a professional manner with customers, co-workers and subcontractors.
- Possesses EPA Refrigerant Handling Certification license (Core, Type I & Type II).
- Understands that safety is the #1 Priority, used personal protective equipment, documents site safety plans and understands electrical hazards and electrical safety.
- Opportunity for 40 hours during the busy seasons.
- Additional duties.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in an HVAC related field or construction field preferred but not required. Technical school degree desired; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to learn and take direction from Foreman.
- Must be EPA certified or willing to take the EPA exam within a month of starting date. NATE certification or similar qualifications are desired but not required.
- Knowledge of principles and methods involved in showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This product demonstration to customers and sales techniques.
- On the job training is provided.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will use hands, have to talk, and hear. The employee is also required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
