Personal Lines Customer Service Agent

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Personal Lines Customer Service Agent to join our team in Marshfield, WI. In this role, you will be responsible for managing an assigned book of business, providing exceptional customer service and making modifications to accounts as needed. You will work directly with clients to offer risk analysis and coverage recommendations, ensuring their insurance needs are met effectively. The ideal candidate will have a valid Wisconsin Insurance Agent license and possess strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.

• 2-5 years of experience in personal insurance preferred.
• Current Wisconsin Property & Casualty Insurance license of the ability to obtain one within 3 months of hire.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen capacity for critical thinking.
• Demonstrates strong attention to detail and accuracy while maintaining focus on priorities and deadlines. Able to exercise sound judgment, avoid unnecessary analysis, and efficiently drive tasks to completion.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to effectively multi-task and adapt to changing priorities.
• Self-directed, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor in all interactions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel; preferred experience with insurance agency management systems, particularly Applied Epic.

• Manage customer data and document all interactions accurately in Applied Epic, our agency management system.
• Navigate and utilize insurance company websites to process policy changes and handle new business electronically.
• Conduct regular reviews with clients to assess their evolving insurance needs and provide guidance on appropriate coverage.
• Maintain consistent communication with customers through email and phone to inform them about policy updates or changes.
• Assist customers with claims, offering support and guidance throughout the claims process to ensure a smooth experience.
• Work with customers to add additional new policies to cross-sell and round out accounts.
