Job Description
As a construction team member, you will play an essential role in assisting with a variety of construction tasks across different projects. This position requires a strong work ethic, the ability to follow verbal and written instructions, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. You will work closely with other team members to ensure that all tasks are completed on time and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup and tear down of construction sites
- Operate and maintain construction equipment and tools, following safety guidelines
- Perform manual labor tasks which could include digging, lifting, carrying, and site preparation
- Assist in assembling and installing materials
- Support in various tasks
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project progress and any issues that may arise
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Lead or Project Manager
Requirements
- Previous construction or labor experience
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new skills
- Good communication and ability to work effectively in a team
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Reliable transportation to jobsites
