Adult Welding Instructor
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
- Experience in Curriculum Development preferred.
REPORTS TO:
- Director of Career and Technology
SUPERVISES:
- None
JOB GOALS:
- To develop, coordinate, and implement an instructional program for welding students.
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Maintain and upgrade the curriculum in absence of full-time instructor.
- Complete all program requisitions.
- Assess all equipment and coordinate maintenance as needed.
- Maintain all student academic records for the programs of study you teach.
- Assists with funding proposals for corporate training and grant funding
- Assists the Financial Aid Office.
- Completes such reports as required by the Federal, State, and Local Agencies, the Board of Directors, and Director of CTE
- Responsible for scheduling all classroom training activities.
- Verifies all time sheets.
- Responsible for disciplinary actions of students.
- Maintains student time sheets for agency sponsored students.
- Responsible for state and local audits.
- Plans and conducts graduation exercises for each completed class.
- Assist with PTDI Programmatic Certification Processes.
- Other duties assigned by the Director of Career and Technology.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- This position shall be a part-time as needed. Hourly wage to be established by the Board of Directors annually. This positon will work a varied schedule of day and evening hours as needed based on programmatic scheduling.
EVALUATION:
- Performance of the position will be evaluated annually by the Director of CTE in accordance with the provisions of the Board’s Policy on evaluation of personnel.
