What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substitute Custodian position at Schuylkill Intermediate Unit #29?
The Schuylkill Intermediate Unit #29/Schuylkill Technology Center is looking for substitute Custodians to serve at all locations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining buildings and grounds, sidewalks, walkways, driveways and play areas ensuring they are neat and clean. Sweeps classrooms daily and dusts furniture.
- Clean and disinfect bathroom floors daily.
- cleans all sanitary fixtures and drinking fountains daily.
- Keep all floors in a clean and attractive condition and in good state of preservation.
- Assist in minor building repairs.
- Report major repairs needed promptly to the supervisor.
- Able to work alone without supervision.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more and work off ladders.
