Schutz Container System, a Global Packaging company is searching for a Logistic Analyst for our corporate office located in Somerville, NJThe Logistics Analyst has overall responsibility for coordinating shipments from origin to the proper Schuetz plant.On-Site Role Summary of Duties · Identify available shipments in database· Communicate necessary shipment information to proper trucking companies· Coordinate shipment pricing with carrier and logistics management· Monitoring shipments to ensure specific requirements are met· Maintain accuracy of shipment database· Developing ideas to improve the quality of products and procedures· Communicating with Customer Service on shipment status· Track customer trailer usage· Communicate trailer reconciliation with customer and SCS Management· Other duties as assigned.Qualifications: · Requires basic analytical skills· Excellent communication skills via e-mail and phone· Comfortable working with computer based software (SAP a plus)· Strong MS Excel skills· Good understanding of the trucking industry Performance Criteria: · Ability to work in a fast paced environment· Strong communication skills· Ability to multi-task· Strong attention to detail Company DescriptionSchuetz Container Systems is a world-class leader in the manufacturing of industrial containers across multiple business lines. Salary : $60,000 - $62,000
