What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at Schutt Sports LLC?
OVERVIEW
Keep all assembly and sub-assembly lines fully stocked with the necessary components and packaging to complete daily orders.
Maintain a clean, clear work area and walkway at all times.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Adhere to all posted and/or trained safety and work rules.
· Stage build lines with the correct work orders by due date and/or attainment schedules.
· Maintain fully stocked bins in the FB Cell staging area to minimize downtime due to component issues.
· Communicate with the Receiving Warehouse to ensure all components needed to fill bins are readily available in the FB Cell.
· Maintain a clean and organized workspace by removing scrap corrugated material.
· Ensure all trash is removed from the work area at the end of each workday.
· Perform all cycle counts needed as directed by the Assembly Supervisor.
· Notify Assembly Supervisor of all component related or employee related issues immediately.
