What are the responsibilities and job description for the Busser/Food Runner position at Schussboom Brewing Company?
Our family-owned and operated award winning Brewpub is looking for friendly, positive, energetic Front of House staff with drive and integrity that want to have fun and grow with us as we expand our vision moving forward! This is a multi-role position where you may be assigned to running food and/or bussing depending on the shift.
About the Role:
This isn’t just a busser job — you’re the face of the restaurant. You’ll interact with guests, run food, bus tables, keep things flowing smoothly, and maintain meticulous cleanliness throughout. We’re a team-first environment where every role supports the others.
What You’ll Do:
- Remove dirty dishes and glassware, wipe down tables, etc
- Enhance the customer experience with a friendly smile and excellent hospitality
- Run food to guests at their tables
- Keep all dining areas clean and stocked
- Provide quick, friendly service during busy times
We’re Looking For:
- Great communication and people skills
- Ability to multitask under pressure
- Previous restaurant not required, but must be motivated to move quickly, stay busy, and support an excellent guest experience
- Dependable, energetic, and team-oriented
- Constantly moving - there’s always something to do
