Schunk Carbon Technology, a privately-held global leader in carbon and current transmission solutions, is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Part-Time Administrative Assistant to join our team in Menomonee Falls. 

This role offers a flexible work schedule and the opportunity to work closely with a dedicated team of approximately 100 employees at our manufacturing plant in Menomonee Falls.

The Administrative Assistant will play a key role in supporting daily office operations, coordinating events, and ensuring smooth communication across departments, including with our headquarters in Germany. Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support, including handling correspondence, maintaining records, and assisting with project work
  • Arrange and communicate domestic travel schedules, including hotel reservations and ground transportation
  • Order office and kitchen supplies, business cards, and company apparel
  • Coordinate company events and meetings, including business lunches
  • Assist with the preparation of company presentations and internal communications
  • Serve as a point of contact for staff and visitors
  • Communicate with the marketing department at our headquarters in Germany to obtain the latest marketing and branding materials
  • Prepare and update dashboards and statistics as assigned
  • Perform other various administrative duties as needed
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in an administrative assistant or similar support role
  • Proficiency with Office 365 applications
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively
  • Enthusiasm for administrative work and supporting a team environment
