Description
At Schumacher Auto Group, we're looking for a highly organized and detail-focused Warranty Cancellations Clerk to support our accounting team. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate, timely processing of warranty and aftermarket cancellations while delivering a smooth experience for our customers.
Experience with automotive accounting and warranty processing is required. Great pay and benefits to the right person.
What You'll Do
- Ensuring that all required documents are collected for the cancellation process.
- Accurate calculation and processing of all refunds.
- Accurate, and timely, posting of all general ledger entries.
- Maintaining clean accounting schedules.
- Other duties as needed within the Accounting Department.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in automotive accounting and warranty processing required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Basic accounting knowledge and understanding of routine accounting functions
- Strong administrative and coordination skills
- Proficiency in computer systems; CDK experience preferred
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and handle routine problem-solving
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 6 months of related experience or equivalent combination of education and training
