Requirements
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mobile Automotive Technician to join our team. In this role, you will operate a company-provided service van and travel to customer locations to perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and light to moderate repairs. This position is ideal for a self-motivated technician who enjoys working independently while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to client locations in a company service van to perform on-site vehicle services
- Conduct oil changes, fluid checks, and other routine maintenance
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and software
- Perform minor to mid-level repairs (e.g., brakes, batteries, filters, spark plugs, belts, etc.)
- Communicate clearly with customers about vehicle issues, recommended services, and costs
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation for each job
- Ensure tools, equipment, and service vehicle are properly maintained and organized
- Follow all safety procedures and company protocols
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and automotive software
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- ASE certification (preferred but not required)
