Our client, a well-established precision sheet metal fabrication company in the Lawrence area is seekingexperienced Grinder/Finishersto join their team. Job Responsibilities:
- Grinding and finishing precision sheet metal components
- Reading and following blueprints to ensure proper finish and detail
- Using hand-held pneumatic grinders of various sizes for surface/corner details
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Documenting and reporting any defective product
- Assisting with other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of grinding/finishing experience in a fabrication environment
- Mechanical aptitude and solid math skills
- Prior hands-on experience with power tools (or relevant vocational training)
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Willingness to cross-train and support production needs
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
