Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Deliver a warm, energetic, and supportive presence that enhances the overall Irish pub guest experience
- Assist servers in providing efficient and attentive service by running food and beverages accurately and promptly
- Ensure all food is delivered to the correct table with proper presentation, knowledge of menu items, and attention to guest needs
- Clear, clean, and reset tables quickly and thoroughly to maintain optimal table availability and flow of service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, bar area, service stations, and expo line throughout service
- Stock and replenish service areas including glassware, silverware, napkins, condiments, and other necessary supplies
- Support the service team by refilling water, pre-bussing tables, and anticipating guest needs
- Communicate effectively with kitchen, bar, and front-of-house team members to ensure seamless service execution
- Maintain awareness of the dining room pace and assist where needed to keep service running smoothly
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
- Contribute to a team culture rooted in camaraderie, accountability, and hospitality excellence
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support overall pub operations
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a restaurant, bar, or hospitality environment preferred but not required
- Experience in a high-volume setting is a plus
- Strong work ethic with a sense of urgency and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry trays or bus tubs throughout the shift
- Positive attitude and willingness to take initiative and support where needed
- Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to changing service demands
- Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences and supporting overall service excellence
