What are the responsibilities and job description for the Farm Hand/Laborer position at Schramm Farms?
Cattle Chore Hand/Milker
Job Requirements:
-Able to lift 50lbs or more
-Work in all inclement weather conditions
-Must enjoy animals (cows)
*Previous experience not needed but highly preferred*
Job Duties:
*Primarily you will be responsible for milking dairy cattle*
Additional responsibilities may include:
- Calf care and feeding
- Operating a skid steer and cleaning pens
- Cleaning and sanitizing milking equipment
**Important Notes:**
This is a part-time position, but it has the potential to become full-time in the future if desired.
Pay scale and job responsibilities will be determined based on dairy cattle/animal husbandry knowledge and expericence!
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
