Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate, reliable, and nurturing Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a heart for working with young children, experience in early childhood education, and a commitment to providing a safe, engaging, and faith-based classroom environment.
Responsibilities
- Support and/or lead the daily classroom schedule and age-appropriate lesson plans.
- Help implement a Christian, developmentally appropriate curriculum that encourages spiritual, social, emotional, and academic growth.
- Maintain a safe, structured, and positive learning environment.
- Provide regular feedback, assessments, and documentation of classroom activities.
- Partner with parents through effective communication and relationship-building.
- Collaborate with co-teachers and staff to create a supportive and Christ-centered school culture.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a preschool, childcare center, or early childhood setting.
- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices in early childhood education.
- Strong classroom management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to integrate Christian values and lessons into the daily curriculum.
- Reliability and flexibility to work the required schedule (9:00AM – 6:00PM, Monday–Friday).
