Family Services Coordinator / Parent Relations & Enrollment CoordinatorPosition Summary
The Family Services Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for prospective and current families, helping create a warm, welcoming, and supportive experience from initial inquiry through enrollment and continued participation in the school community. This position is responsible for managing enrollment, building strong family relationships, supporting parent communication, and assisting with retention and community engagement efforts.

Key ResponsibilitiesEnrollment & Admissions
- Serve as the first point of contact for prospective families.
- Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, email, website, and in-person visits.
- Schedule and conduct school tours.
- Guide families through the enrollment process from inquiry to registration.
- Maintain accurate enrollment records and waitlists.
- Manage enrollment paperwork and student files.
- Follow up with prospective families to support enrollment goals.
- Assist with annual re-enrollment and retention efforts.
- Track enrollment metrics and provide reports to leadership.
Family Relations & Customer Service
- Build positive, trusting relationships with families.
- Serve as a resource for parents regarding school programs, policies, and procedures.
- Address parent questions and concerns professionally and promptly.
- Help ensure a welcoming and family-centered school culture.
- Support family onboarding and orientation for new families.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding student and family information.
Communication & Engagement
- Coordinate family communications, newsletters, announcements, and reminders.
- Manage communication platforms and parent engagement tools.
- Assist with social media content and community outreach efforts.
- Support planning and promotion of family events, open houses, and school activities.
- Help gather parent feedback through surveys and conversations.
- Collaborate with teachers and administration to ensure consistent communication.
Administrative Support
- Maintain student records and database systems.
- Assist with attendance, registration, and documentation as needed.
- Support billing, tuition communication, or account inquiries when applicable.
- Prepare reports and administrative documents.
- Ensure compliance with licensing and enrollment documentation requirements.
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience in admissions, customer service, education, childcare, hospitality, or family services preferred.
