The School District of Wisconsin Dells is looking for a passionate full-time teaching assistants to join our team at Spring Hill Elementary. In this role, you will be a vital part of our special education program, providing support to students with intellectual disabilities. Available Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:45 AM - 3:15 PM
The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with special needs, a minimum of an Associate’s Degree, or meets standards to be considered a highly qualified para professional (this can be achieved with the district). Must have the ability to work in a team environment. All Teaching assistants in the SDWD are required to obtain a special education teaching assistant license through the WDPI (this can be completed upon hiring). All candidates must be willing and able to provide personal, academic, behavioral, and health care needs for individuals with disabilities.
Pay: From $17.89 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
