Rome Corners Intermediate School is currently looking for a special education assistant to support grades 5 - 6. All positions offer opportunities to connect with students and create a safe and enjoyable learning environment. We look forward to meeting you soon!

Position Description:

The ideal candidate will be able to:

• Work one-on-one with students on academics
• Work with small groups of students
• Support Grade Level teams on clerical needs
• Support in classrooms
• Assist with lunch and recess duty
• Other duties as assigned

Candidates must have:

• A firm appreciation of student differences and be able to work with varying skill levels
• Positive, strong communication and collaboration skills
• A commitment to educational equity preferred
