What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Health Office Assistant position at School District of Lodi, WI?
The School District of Lodi is seeking a Part Time Health Office Assistant to support the school nursing department. Hours for this position will be 8:45am-3:00pm (5.75 hours a day, Monday - Friday, following the school calendar).
- Provide specific support to students and staff in regards to health related issues during the school day
- Work in a collaborative manner with other school nursing staff and administrative assistants at Lodi Primary School, Lodi Elementary School, Ouisconsing School of Collaboration, Lodi Middle School, and Lodi High School
- Ability to follow directives and be detail oriented
- Ability to travel between buildings with reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Provide quality care for students during the school day to address their physical, medical, and emotional needs
- Provide accurate and timely follow up to parents and guardians when needed
Qualifications:
- Prior health care experience in areas including; diabetes, food/other allergies, asthma, ect.
- Effectively communicate both orally as well as in writing with staff, students, parents and guardians
- Follow all confidentiality requirements related to students and staff health and other records
- Be able to work effectively with students age 3-21
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to maintain a positive disposition and work environment
- The ability to speak Spanish is desired but not required

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.50 - $19.50 per hour
