Job Overview
The Technology Technician provides timely, professional technical support across all district buildings. Duties
- Deploy, troubleshoot, and maintain Apple, Windows, and Chromebook devices, printers, phones, and bell systems.
- Support network connectivity, servers, VPNs, and IP-based systems including security cameras and access control.
- Perform Google administration for device and user management.
- Manage Chrome settings, extensions, and policy controls to promote cybersecurity.
- Maintain inventory, track devices, and assist with technology deployment.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.
- Follow FERPA/COPPA privacy requirements and support responsible AI use.
- Provide professional customer service and collaborate effectively with staff and team members.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary training in IT preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally and clearly.
- Ability to work in a timely, organized, and detail-oriented manner.
- Familiarity with Apple devices, Windows OS, Chromebooks, and educational technology systems.
- Knowledge of FERPA and COPPA and the importance of protecting student privacy.
- Understanding of networking, servers, VPNs, and IP-based systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow district policies.
Pay: $23.00 - $29.00 per hour
