Position Summary
Re-1 Valley School District is seeking dependable and hardworking individuals to assist with summer maintenance and grounds operations. This position supports the upkeep, repair, and improvement of district facilities and outdoor spaces to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and the community.

Caliche Elementary and Caliche Jr/Sr High School, located outside Iliff, CO, are a part of RE-1 Valley School District. The District Administration Center is located in Sterling, CO (Logan County) in the Northeastern corner of Colorado on Interstate 76 alongside the Platte River. - Assist with general building maintenance, repairs, and upkeep
- Perform grounds work, including mowing, trimming, watering, and weed control
- Support painting, cleaning, and minor construction projects
- Help move furniture, equipment, and classroom materials
- Assist with summer preparation projects for the upcoming school year
- Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition
- Follow all district safety procedures and guidelines
- Work collaboratively with maintenance and custodial staff
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred (students eligible)
- Ability to perform physical labor in outdoor conditions
- Basic knowledge of tools and equipment preferred
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to follow directions
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to pass a background check per district requirements
