What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paraprofessional Grade 7 at KMS 2026-2027 position at School Administrative Unit No. 29?
We are looking for dedicated individuals to assist teachers and students in the 7th grade at Keene Middle School. In this role, Paraprofessionals work closely with classroom teachers and special education staff to provide instructional, behavioral, and social-emotional support to students, helping them reach their full potential in an inclusive middle school environment.
- Work Schedule: 7.5 hours per day, following the school year calendar (summers, vacations and holidays off).
- Primary Goal: To assist in the instruction and progress of students across diverse educational environments.
- Collaborative Environment: Work closely with lead teachers to implement curriculum and support student growth.

Qualifications
- Education: Associate's degree or two years of college (approximately 48 credits) or equivalent is preferred.
- Certifications: Paraprofessional certification is needed.
- Experience: Prior experience working with children or in an educational setting is highly preferred.
- Skills: Ability to adapt to different classroom needs, strong communication skills, and a commitment to student success.
