Minimum qualifications: Master's Degree and appropriate certification. Background in NH special education
Job Goals: The Assistant Principal serves as a vital leader within the high school, primarily tasked with overseeing the Special Education department to ensure all processes and programs meet the diverse needs of students. This role requires a meticulous eye for compliance and a deep understanding of legal mandates, paired with a proactive approach to managing student behavioral expectations through fair and consistent discipline strategies. Beyond administrative oversight, the successful candidate must be a collaborative partner, working seamlessly with the broader leadership team and instructional staff to foster a positive school culture. By bridging the gap between regulatory requirements and daily classroom realities, the Assistant Principal ensures an inclusive, orderly, and supportive environment where every student has the opportunity to succeed.
