Store/Sales Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate store staff through effective training, coaching, and performance management to foster a high-performing team.
• Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) system management.
• Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, merchandising, and pricing strategies to maximize sales and minimize shrinkage.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed store targets while ensuring excellent customer service standards.
• Conduct interviewing, employee orientation, and onboarding processes to recruit top talent and ensure smooth integration into the team.
• Handle payroll processing, bookkeeping, budgeting, and administrative tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Maintain effective communication with staff and customers by utilizing strong phone etiquette and organizational skills.
• Supervise shift management, scheduling, and ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
• Utilize marketing initiatives to promote store offerings and increase foot traffic through community engagement and promotional events.

Experience

• Proven management experience in retail sales or equipment store environments with a focus on customer relations.
• Demonstrated skills in negotiation, purchasing, inventory management, and retail math for accurate pricing and stock control.
• Experience with POS systems, computers, and sales management tools.
• Strong leadership abilities with a track record of developing staff through training & development programs.
• Multilingual or bilingual skills are highly desirable to effectively communicate with diverse customer bases.
• Familiarity with wireless sales or merchandising is a plus but not required.
