About The Role
As a Plumber on our team, you’ll work on commercial new-construction projects installing, repairing, and testing plumbing systems. You’ll collaborate closely with other trades, follow detailed plans and blueprints, and ensure all work meets our long-standing quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Plumbing Installation & Repair
- Install, assemble, and repair water, gas, and drainage systems for commercial new-construction.
- Cut, thread, bend, and join pipes using proper tools and techniques.
- Set fixtures, hang pipe, and ensure proper installation according to project plans.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Lay out plumbing systems based on construction documents and project requirements.
- Ensure all plumbing work complies with local plumbing codes, safety standards, and company procedures.
- Perform routine inspections and tests to verify proper installation and system function.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite.
- Work closely with supervisors, project managers, and other trades to keep projects moving on schedule.
- Communicate issues, delays, or material needs promptly and professionally.
- Track and maintain tools, materials, and equipment.
- Notify supervisor of material shortages and upcoming needs.
Experience
- 3 years of plumbing experience in commercial or residential construction.
- Commercial new-construction experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of plumbing systems, installation methods, and code requirements.
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions.
- Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to high-quality craftsmanship.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- OSHA 10/30 certification is a plus.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
