Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including water supply, drainage, and waste disposal in residential and commercial buildings.
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to execute precise plumbing layouts.
- Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and plumbing inspection cameras to perform installations and diagnostics.
- Conduct drain cleaning using specialized equipment to ensure proper flow and prevent blockages.
- Adhere to local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards during all phases of work.
- Perform plumbing system inspections and troubleshooting to identify issues promptly; execute repairs or replacements as needed.
- Operate company vehicles responsibly for transportation to job sites while maintaining compliance with commercial driving regulations.
Requirements
- Proven construction experience with a strong background in plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance.
- Proficiency in welding, pipe threading, schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, and mechanical knowledge.
- Hands-on experience with plumbing inspection cameras, drain cleaning tools, power tools, hand tools, and carpentry skills.
- Knowledge of residential and commercial plumbing systems as well as HVAC fundamentals related to plumbing integration.
- Ability to lift heavy materials safely and perform physically demanding tasks on construction sites.
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations governing plumbing work in various jurisdictions.
- Strong customer service skills for interacting professionally with clients or project managers when necessary.
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles; clean driving record preferred.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations; experience interpreting technical drawings or schematics is essential.
